HKU graduation film by Vivian van Enkhuizen. After a 25 year old cowboy is forced to kill her brother by a bandit, she decides that getting vengeance is the only way to deal with her loss.

Cowboy Phiro comes face to face with the ruthless bandit Roscoe, who forces her to do the unthinkable: end her own brother's life to pay off an old life debt. She is not given a moment to grieve and instead is knocked unconscious and left alone.

When Phiro wakes up in the night, she is found by a simple family, including teenage daughter Liz. They offer her food, drinks and a warm fire, but the night brings no peace. Ace, Roscoe's right hand, shows up and warns Phiro not to go after his boss. The situation escalates into a violent shootout and Liz joins Phiro; together they travel on.

In the final confrontation with Roscoe, Phiro must choose: take revenge or protect Liz. Consumed by grief, Phiro chooses revenge, but loses sight of Liz in the process, leaving her in danger. As Phiro comes to the realization at the end of her journey that she can let go, Liz realizes that Phiro's endless struggle against her own powerlessness and need for control may have done more harm than good.

I had a lot of fun working on this production! Especially the theme being Western intrigued me a lot! It gave me a lot of creativity working on the garments. Together with the help of my assistents Linde, Esmee and Kira, I was able to create the costumes for all of the cast members. We found everything second-handed, 3D printed bullets and dirtied down clothes to make everything seem as realistic as possible. We worked closely together with the make-up artist Leo, in order to create realistic wounds, which turned out pretty amazing! We worked on beautiful sets in very interesting places I have never been before, with a very cool crew! I am very happy to share this project with you!
